The 2008 EU e-Inclusion Awards are part of i2010, the EU policy framework for the information society and media. Normally, awards of this type would run every two years. However, the replacement framework for i2010 is currently under preparation, including the options for future awards schemes. The EC anticipates a clearer position to be available last quarter 2009.
