Sharing our knowledge to support disadvantaged communities

Here at Citizens Online, we are condensing a decade of experience delivering successful Everybody Online (EOL) community engagement projects into a virtual box of knowledge and resources so that other communities may benefit. Whether you work for the council, a social landlord or a charity, Everybody Online in a Box could support you.

What can we do for you?

The Everybody Online (EOL) programme is founded on the principle that use of technology and the internet can have profound social and economic impact among those who are most disadvantaged. Freely available and easily accessible community technology is a proven conduit for improved outreach, interaction, engagement and support between service providers and those who need help. It also supports people to access services themselves and become more independent and in control of their own social and economic wellbeing.

We have created a comprehensive online knowledge base and toolkit from over 20 local community projects spanning a decade of experience. This is called Everybody Online in a Box - and combined with our support and experience we can offer local authorities, social landlords and local community organisations a range of services to help you enable and deliver one of these community projects in your area.

Much of Everybody Online in a Box is free to access and provides you with the tools to understand the benefits of running an EOL project in your area and how to justify the funding requirements to your stakeholders. Pop to the Box to view and enjoy these free resources.

Feel free to contact us info@poptothebox.org.uk to find out more.
